Analysis of "Above and Beyonce"

Beyonce is a Boss Ass Bitch. No better way to phrase it. This text reminded me of how amazing Beyonce is as a woman and as a female in her industry. She doesn't let rumors get her down or affect her. She doesn't let the norms of society influence her at all. She is truly an independent woman and so many of us can learn from her as a role model. Beyonce was once asked about how she was going to do something and how she does it just in general and her response was, "I don't know. I just know I can." She talked about how she needs a break just as much as a normal person, but that she isn't given those same opportunities to take time off. The way this article was set up was really cool to see how it was basically an interview, but it was also so informative. It told her life story and all about her accomplishments while accompanying them with what she thought about all of these events and how she was really affected by them. This was a cool perspective for us to think about using in our own writing.
