When I Get Out of Quarantine

When I Get Out of Quarantine I want to run up to my friends and give them all a huge hug. I want to get in the car, put the windows down, and drive around screaming the words to country songs. I want to put on a bikini and shorts and go to the beach or drive to the dunes. I want to have a boat day and go to Chicago. I want to get dressed up cute and go out to dinner. I want us all to spend the night at each others houses and just never come home. I want to go to work and then go out afterwards. I want to make this a summer that we never forget.

Most importantly, I want to just enjoy the present moment and not think or worry about what will come after it. Because one day their will be no more crazy nights out with my friends and no more cuddle sessions with the girls and no more sleepless sleepovers. I want to live every night as if it is my last.

If quarantine has taught me anything, it's to live in the present moment and never take anything for granted. I want to enjoy the moments I have before I go to college and take every spare moment to be with my family and friends. And this summer, mainly my friends since I haven't seen them in a month. To all of you reading this, I love you tons and miss you like crazy. Stay healthy and can't wait to spend this summer together.
